Default Emissions sticker

i want to clean up my engine bay a bit and i think the emissions stickers on the fender well look stupid. anyone know if those are required to pass a smog check in cali?

keep it there, if you get pulled over and they check and see it isn't there....well you will be paying $$$

i pulled mine off after talking to an emissions guy who told me they dont know your missing AIR and EGR if u dont have a sticker there....

Since i plan on pulling these to clean up the engine bay as well i pulled the sticker off...

Emissions guy just said "tell them you bought the car like that if they ask where your sticker is"

:shrug: strait from an emissions guy, i would do it (and did)

depends on the shop, if they know what they are looking for it wont pass....that is why visual inspections can suck ***

also after accidents most body shops dont put those stickers back on...just another excuse

You mean you folks in "sniffer" states can get in trouble for not having the emissions decal? Wow, that is just plain ridiculous!

I took some 3M Adhesive Remover and made my emissions decal and fan routing decal history a long time ago
