Default Whisper Ram Air or Fast Toys Ram Air? Whats the Difference?

Im going to buy a ram air kit and was going to go with the FTRA at first. Then i seen the whiper motorsports ram air kit which is about 30 dollars cheaper and looks exactly like the FTRA. Does anyone have the Whiper ram air or know what the differences are? The website i found it at is http://speed-eng.com/store/product_i...oducts_id=6428

the Whisper is a copy of the first version of the FTRA. FTP has revised and improved the kit since.

You got it! The Whisper kit is a copy of an earlier version of the FTRA. Since then, we have made many improvements. Install university tested the lastest version.

Thanks!

Yes. The Whisper kit is based on our older design which didn't seal up the airbox as well and had a ram air plate that didn't divert as much airflow into the airbox.

yeah totaly 2 10th in the 1/4 and 2 mph consistant went to the track a cupple times and had the same gains so I know its just from that. I'm cam'ed though so results will be diffrent for a uncam'de car. But thats a huge gain in my book I mean if you did the math on it to figure out the HP gains well I dont even like talking HP because the track speeks for its self trust me 2 10ths and 2 mph is huge for a simple $180 dollar peice, Maby the free ram air mod does the same thing I dont know.
so in your case maby the other ones will work just as well but because the peice comes out into the open I bet money on it that it works better.
