Default Huge Cam and S/C Opinions

So I've been reading these threads about the T Rex and MS3 cams. And it's apparent they have no under the curve power. But I was thinking if you were to S/C with one of these cams, would it make a good setup? And I'm not talking a centrifugal s/c. I'm talking about this bad boy Here
Instantaneous torqueness! (it's a word) Yay or Nay?

And yes I know this isn't the FI forum but this is more cam related. The rest is just for reference.

somebody around here had a corvette with an MS3 cam and the magnacharger.

seemed to run good. i'm sure it was a pain to tune.

but why would you do it anyway...there are cams on the market SPECIFICALLY designed for s/c applications.

2 power upgrades designed for each other will always out perform 2 mismatched upgrades.

To much overlap. Those cams will bleed off boost.

^x2 on bleeding off boost, look for something in the 115 LSA range or higher

Damn guess not. That does make sense to pair it with a cam designed for SC. I just can't help thinking outside the crate.

anybody here, check me if i am wrong. but you can use the ms3 cam with a 114 lobe and try putting out that power you want. the t-rex though i believe sells with a 110 lobe. that is way tooo much lobe for a supercharger. the ms3 come in 112, 113, or 114. you can put 114 lobes max for a supercharger. now the duration, thats for the cam guru's to find out. but i think it will work. try calling texas speed or MTI for their input.

Recent findings are the maggie likes the larger cams. The maggie keeps the torque in the lower rpms and the larger cam keeps the power going in the high rpms. They seem to work well together.
