Default LS1 build, what do you all think

This is going to a budget build, street car. Some parts will be great for possible future mods, but I'm trying to keep the engine/trans to under 6k.
The bottom end measured good, some contamination got to the main bearings, didn't hurt the journal, just imbedded the bearings. So the stock bottom end will stay with the exception of ARP bolts on the conrods and Fed Mogal 3/4 groove main bearings, with a new set of rings on the piston and all new gaskets. I hate oil leaks.

LS1/4L60e with comp and harness- 2800 bucks.
ARP bolts- 75
FM Main Bearings- 110
Total Seal Rings- 140
Comp 918 springs- 190
Comp Cam PN CCA-54-428-11 - 450
March dampner with underdrive pulleys- 200
Fuddle T/C 3200 stall 2.1 str- 320 (used)
Headers 1 3/4" (will be custom made long tubes)- 300
LS6 Intake- 300 bucks
stock oil pump
LS2 timing chain- 40
Gaskets- 350
Floor shifter- 200
plugs and wires- 100

Total of above 5600 bucks.

I'm not experienced with the LS engines as this is my first LS build. Give me a Gen 1 engine and I'm all over it. So what do you all think?
