WTF condesation milky color on my oil cap!!
guys i have been tracing down my hesitation problem on my car and as i opened my oil cap, i noticed that it had a milky color and 1 drop of a clear water color! i looked into the elbow of the oil cap snout and it was also all a milky color as well!! i looked deeper into the rocker arm and it looked fine, i pulled the dipstick and it was not milky but looked like a lighter brown then yesterday, please i hope this is not my head gasket!! i treat my car really well and Never over heated it!! somebody told me it is normal that condensation is trying to rise to the top to escape! or could it be the pcv system is not functioning properly???

Is your radiator low? If your radiator is staying up there then its more than likely not a head gasket. My cap has the same milky residue and has had it for the last 50k milesand hasnt used any coolant. Just take it out on some nice long drives and get the oil good and hot so it can burn off any moisture that accumulates in it.

there is 1,500 miles on the oil but the car has been sitting long due to my exhaust and in rain and alot of humidity! and its also lik a yelloish kinda lik little dot on the cap too! but my car has never done this before man!

If the oil that comes out is fine, then don't worry about it. I just cleaned a load of that crap off my oil cap. Literally gunked in the stuff.
It's just condensation.
Now if you notice missing coolant and the oil out the drainplug looks like that, then you have a problem.

Short trips are the worst. However, if the car is sitting inside somewhere, short term storage will not cause significant moisture contamination in the oil as seen here.
My '98 sits A LOT (all winter in fact). I've never had the milky white crap on the oil fill cap. On the other hand, I've had that issue on other cars of mine that were used mostly for short local driving. My '96 Bonneville has that issue right now, because my wife is driving the car for her 3 mile commute to work every day. When I used to drive that car 75 miles a day, it never had that issue. On the flip side, her old car also had that issue, but once I started using it for my long commute, guess what, the problem was gone.

yea thanks everybody, i just changed my oil, and yea my oil was black as night! so yea im sure its not a problem! and i guess im going to start warming up the car more, since my maximum driving distance is lik 5 miles and the car fully warms up in 2 miles! but thanks alot guys, i was just freaked out! i thought my head gasket could have been out!!

I put a catch can before my engine's pcv valve as it goes behind the throttle body. The engine never did lose enough oil to be measured but get this; the catch can collects pure water. I'm getting as much as two tablespoons in 50 miles. If this water vapor wasn't being caught in the can I'm sure I'd be seeing some signs of it collecting on the cap etc....
