Default Tire related.. What would you do?

I have some nitto drags 275/40/17 on the rear and I just picked up some new wheels with tires but the tires are 285/40/17 and there's still PLENTY of meat on them. I'm obviously not gonna run the wider tires on the front so I guess I'm just gonna have to get 2 new tires and abandon the drags? If I go that route, with 285's in back, what size should I get for the front?

What would y'all do?

I'll probably sell them man. I'll let you know by the end of the week for sure. I'll need the $ for 2 new tires I guess.

What size should I get for the front with 285's on the rear?

I would say a 245 would be the smallest I would go on a 17 inch wheel.

I don't want to go too small cuz it'll look funny so maybe 255's??? I need to see some pics of diff tire set ups or something.. I'm putting a lot more thought into this than I thought I would

Run 285s on the front for superior braking traction.

I'd say man up, sell everything and get TTIIs with 9.5s front and 11s back. 285 fronts and 315s back.

I want that.

I still like the looks of C5 Z06's over TTII's but you're right, 315s are SICK.

side note: When the tt2's first came out i couldn't help but wonder why peeps were putting mustang wheels on fbods

and if you find a good deal on 4 I'll split it with you cause I need some tires too
