Default So what do you pay for insurance?

What do you pay in insurance for your LSx vehicle?

I'm quoted about $230 for a 2000 Camaro Z28 and I'm 18. Not sure if thats full or not though. It's through my parents, I just hand them money monthly.

(Got the idea from this thread

Just wanted to see what you guys pay for your age)

I have the highest coverage possible, (because my dad is on the car also, this was the agreement) I pay 236 a month for full coverage on this and full coverage on my 97 sable, the camaro is about 2100 a year by its self. I am 24, my coverage has a 15% increase for 2 tickets. i had a z when i was 19 and i paid about 2300 a year for full coverage.

I just call my insurance company to give me a quote on a car that I am interested in. He said $1029 every 6 months. Thats with carrying a 3.0 or better in college, CLEAN driving record. Im 19 and this sucks!!!

So thats 250 a month cause I gotta pay it in 4 months. Plus the 300 for a car payment, not to mention my $80 phone bill and gas......

+ girlfriend....

sigh.....

Im almost 22 now, I had 2 wrecks under my belt when i was 16, and they just now dropped them off my record...also geico had a big part in it, they are by far the worst insurance company IMO. Also I had a 350 car payment and a 60 phone bill...but I had a camaro so it made it all worth it!

I'm 19, will be 20 in a few months. My new 96 SS is going to be like $240 every six months but that is through my dad with him having no accidents or tickets ever and a multi car discount. My Z was like $260 or so. If it was listed as the main driver it would be A LOT more!

Mine is about 120 bucks a month for full coverage ($500 deductible, un-/underinsured coverage etc. etc.) on two TA's (98 and 99) and 04 Expedition.

Then again... TX insurance rates suck.

I must be lucky, cuz I'm 21 and i pay $43 a month full coverage 500/500. My insurace guy is great, he always works with me. at first it was going to be a little over $100 a month, but I get to claim it as a "limited usage" vehicle and pay $38 a month for liability on my POS grand prix (daily driver). It works out to a little under $500 for both vehicles for 6 months. 1 ticket (speeding).
