dunno, why do some cars have a box on the pass. side, and some cars only have a throttle cable and maybe a CC cable?

With asr w/o asr is the difference the throttle relaxer is on the passenger side on a car with asr and has a single cable to the tb.

asr...sorry what does this mean?

just went outside and investigated my roomats 01 formy, he has the box(asr thing) and my thoughts seem to be if you DO have that the cruise control is setup in this box, and if NOT, there is a bracket on the TB for the Cruise control piece, so i would think my throttle body would tell me this if it had a spot for a CC cable or not?

any thoughts?

asr is Acceleration Slip Regulation. Throttle bodys are all the same as far as I know, so I would be under the assumption that you could just run a single cable. hope this helps, good luck.

well the single cable pieces are the ones with the asr box or whatnot, the ones that dont have this have 2 cables, the guy i bought my motor from said he didnt have the asr box and just 2 cables, but he prolly sold them.
