whats the purpose for the bigger cam, thats more the question. With the stock TC your gonna want something with some low end like a 224xr. Anthing with the power band above 2500 i would personaly stay away from. You wont get the higher hp numbers of the bigger cams but you will get the low end power they dont. How high do you want it to rev to?

A converter is probably about the best mod for an automatic. You can pickup .3 -.5 tenths from the right converter.

What is it you are wanting from the cam swap?

no1 here for the most part will shoot you the wrong way. you can run any of the cams listed with out a converter but the cam will fall on its face. i have a yank ss 3600 and cant even tell that i have it until i launch or floor it. a stall is one of the first mods i would do on an a4 and my next car will definitly have a bigger stall than a 3600.

what type of power are you trying to make?

whats your budget?

purpose of the car (track car, street car)?

answer some of those and we can help you more

Definitely considering getting a stall, its pretty much a must if you get a cam!
