Congrats and welcome to LS1tech! You now own one of the best sportscars ever made, you will not regret pulling the trigger on your 'vette.
A Vararam would be an excellent first mod if you are eager to start. Next would be to get an aftermarket cat-back to give her some growl. Check out LS1sounds.com for some clips of different setups before you buy.
Then it's decision time. Do you want to keep her N/A or do you want to go FI? If you want to keep her N/A you must get longtube headers and a dyno tune. If you want to go turbo or S/C then you can keep your stock manifolds.
Frequent this site and you will learn volumes very quickly.

i know its kind of funny but i just dont know anything about vettes i just know i wanted one... so i had to get the best deal, so you think it was a good buy? its funny cause the next day when i took my 1000 down payment in the manager took me into his office and supposedly showed me a site that only dealers see about what sells and for how much at auctions across the U.S. and he said i hope you still dont think we ripped you off i mean look at how much dealers pay for them.... i said well i hope you didnt.

Nice job. You'll love it, C5s are great cars. I'd go with a Cold air kit and catback first. The catback won't help power much, but the stock exhaust is weak sounding and any mod you do later will require the better intake. Good luck.

if you dont have many bad roads or steep driveways, def drop it as far as it can go
its easy as hell and makes it look so much better
