Im not sure what its called but its the plastic piece on top of your cowl that has your heater vents and your windsheild wipers bolted to. Im thinking about doing a gloss black if i can figure out how to remove it. Pics? removal guide?

Its a mega pain in the *** to remove. I was gonna do the same thing. On my car I got to remove the hood and pull the wipers off, which ain't so easy.

Here is a thread i had after I painted mine. I sanded them down and painted them body color. Before the motor is done I am going to do wet sanding and clear them

mine wasn't so hard to get off when i put the strut bar in.....guess firebirds are harder.
