Default Sway bar end link sets

Changed mine today on the front and rear. All four broke when trying to remove. Used Energy Suspension sets and could tell a difference. The stock ones were worn and compressed. Would like to do shocks next any suggestions? thanks

Did mine last week and two broke, I had to use the sawzall to cut the other two cause they were rusted and the stripped. What should have been a 45 minute job took a couple hours. No difference felt here either, although the annoying squeal did go away!
