Arent 806 1997-1998 LS1 heads (permanate mount valve cover heads)? It will start but I wouldnt try to run it much without a tune. I would start it and run it at 1500 to 2000 rpms to let the cam break in so I get it up to operating temperture and get the antifreeze and oils in it so I could check it out and watch the tempeture gauge so you dont over heat it and then take it and get it tuned. I dont know what you are asking about the 3400 stall unless you are just saying your car has it. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you.

Mine ran fine with a 231/237 and ported 241's for the better part of a year without tuning. Did it run like a million bucks? No....more like a dollar fifty.
