Default TTM 10.5” wheel owners, come inside!

I’ve read just about every thread on this site about these wheels. It seems there is roughly a 50/50 chance that a 4th gen F-body will need some BFH/clearancing with 10.5” TTM wheels using 315mm tires. Also, about a 50/50 chance of the need to modify the bump stop.

So if you own a set of A/R TTMs with 10.5” wide rears, please reply stating whether you had any sort of fitment issues or not. Please also state what and how much modding you needed to do to the bump stop and/or the inner wheel well.

Thanks!

Mine fit fine and did not have to cut off my bump stops, I am running Nitto 315's in the rear and they are a little less wide than other 315's out there. Is your car lowered or stock? If lowered then your rear fender will rub the tires when you bottom out on a bump in the road ect....

If I did this, I'd get F1 D3s, which I understand are the 'widest' of the 315 series tires.

My car is stock ride height, but that is deceiving. I guess over the last 10 years the springs have sagged some, because the car sits between 3/4" to 1" lower than other stock ride height cars.

Thanks for your input.

I have them and had to roll my fenders and also take a small hammer to the inside of the wheel well. I am lowered lots and do not have an adj, pan hard so that is causing some problems. I have 315 nitto 555r's.

I have Sumitomo 315's on my 10.5 TTM's. I had my local mechanic install some spacers to have the wheels line up evenly with the body of the car. No BFH or bump stop mods in the rear here. (I do have to BFH the front wheel wells ever since I lowered the front of my car though)

I'm lowerd with strano springs in the rear and no isolatores. Qa1s in the front lowered to 26 inches in the front. running 315 nittos and adjusted the PHB no issus yet. I removed the bumpstops for now and havent hammerd or rolled the fenders. oh I got the Anthrice TTMs 10.5 rear 9 fronts, running dual exhaust 12 bolt and the only issue I see for me is how close the rear end is to the as tank.

I am running the TTM's with a 315/35 Nitto Drag Radial, no mods whatsoever. I was running TTII's with 315/35 BFG KD's before with no mods either.

It was lowered with Eibach Sportlines and I did have a adj panhard rod so I know that helped.

I've got the Chrome 10.5 with Nitto 315/35/17. I am lowered with Strano Springs and aside from having to lift from the rear to put these rims on I have no fitment issues.

What rims do you have on your car right now? I was thinking of trading them locally around Chicago for something else. How far is Lincolnwood from Southside Chicago by Midway Airport?

PM me.

my girlfriend just got ttms 10.5 in the rear with sumitumo 315s. Stock suspension, the tires hit the outer fenders every time she hits a bump? just on passenger side! I am thinking maybe a adjusting panhard bar will fix that?

I have the TTM's with the Sumitomo and have had no issues until I just lowered it. Adjustable Panhard took care of the rubbing. I haven't had to do any BFH mods or have I done anything with the bump stops.

The adjustable Panhard bar made all the difference once I lowered mine for sure.
