Magnacharger or N2O for LS2 GTO
I have a Maggie on my Tahoe. No need to sell me on the quality/fit/finish. I understand the power curve.
I have never ridden in anything with spray.
My question is: which is going to feel stronger, pull harder? A 100shot or 6psi. (Dont say both )
Since the goat weighs about 2000 pounds less than the Tahoe, I feel the maggie may really feel good. I already have a TNT wet kit and 2 bottles ready to install but just found a new MP112 for a serious good deal.
If it was you, which would you go with and why?
Thanks
(FYI..I have CAI, LTs and a catback. 3.91 gears are bought but not installed. No intention of doing a cam or heads.)

This is what I was thinking. Traction will be an issue as I just bought 19's with 235/35 tires to go on the car.As for the price of the Maggie, I'll just say I've seen used ones go for more.

your ET's will pick up about the same...and the nitrous is a lot cheaper.
I love the blower on my car, but the instantaneous hit of torque nitrous gives is hard to ignore.
I think it best to decide what you want....the power to be there all the time, or just occasionally?

If the maggie price is too good to be true then it PROBABLY IS.
Because you already have your nitrous kit and gears ready for install I would recommend you go ahead and get those thrown in your car instead of spending more money and having those parts just laying around.
And if you leave those gears laying around shoot I'll buy them from you!!!

Nitrous spray ALWAYS feels like the hardest hit of any power adder. It is sort of like crack. You always have to buy more after only the shortest high. ANY other power adder will be more expensive in the short term, but less expensive in the long run. The only time I would advocate the benefits of nitrous is for a strip ONLY vehicle. Also, the traction limits of the GTO make putting an instant torque increase to the ground quite difficult. This would apply directly to nitrous, but also to the maggie, albeit not quite as bad.

It's from an authorized dealer that I happen to know.
Nope. I wouldn't buy something like that from eBay.
I know my post count on THIS forum isn't that high, but this is not my first LS based toy. I am just looking for opinions from guys with a GTO. I am going to add the N2O and the 3.91's in May. Probably add the maggie after the summer.
Thanks for all the input.
