Help Quick Lifter Question..

Default Help Quick Lifter Question..

Got my 370 short block back today and i was puttin it back together and noticed there was holes on one side of the lifter...do these need to be turned a certain way??

No, just make sure the roller rolls with the cam lobe.

alrighty thanks man..just wanted to make sure that little oiling hole isnt supposed to go a certain way..mine can either go front to back...did a search and most people say theirs goes towards the intake or the pistons..hmm oh well..hopefully to have the rest of the short block back together tonight

When I did my brothers motor I faced the oil holes toward the front of the motor if it makes you feel any better. It doesn't matter either way.

thats the way i put them in..just waitin for tomorrow so i can finish putting my heads back together and of the motor finished
