I pressure tested one at the plant all they way to 120psi. You won't have a problem.

16psi on mine, and soon to be around 20psi. Can't go wrong for the money. I think at one point KP switched out and bought a high priced brand name intercooler and it didn't perform as well, then switched back.

I was told about a test done. At low boost levels(sub 10psi), there was no difference, between a garret, PTE, spearco, and ebay. When they went up in boost to around 20 psi, there was still almost no difference. Then they jumped to around 30 psi, and they started to notice a little difference. More or less they learned the ebay intercoolers performed great, and for the money you cant go wrong. But if money is not an issue, and your looking to squeeze out that last bit of hp out of a front mount system before going a2w or something then you may want to look @ different routs. It would be a little hard but i have seen people going from a bottom to bottom front mount to a top to bottom, and picking up a little power, because more of the surface of the intercooler is getting used, but thats kinda hard to do on our cars.

With all this being said, and doing my research it seems a bar and plate core, is a bare and plate core. Most of the cores are almost identical, but endtanks can play a bigger role then some think. I ended up getting a Garret core, with endtanks welded on buy a very popular turbo import place. The price wasn't horrible, but not as cheap as ebay. Im happy knowing i have a garret intercooler on my car, but i dont think there is any problems with the ebay ones.

I also went 31x12x3 which is supposibly good to 950+. If i need more then this IC i will probably go A2W.

Yea, I had a verical flow dual spearco core for a while and it didnt work well at all. Mine is getting on three years old now and knock and wood it hasnt self destructed yet. I would love to try one of those monster garret/spearco A2As but I'll do an A2W before I invest in a high dollar A2A.

+1. Not running yet, but the craftmanship looked get and has a beautiful finish. Shipping cost like $40-$50, but the thing was incased in styrofoam.

Same one I'm going to go with too. Heard a lot of good things about them. Me, being a budget racer, can't beat the price either.
