Does the car need to be jacked up to be removed and replaced? Thanks

I jacked mine up. If it's adj just make sure you tighten when it's on the ground.

Yes. Jack the rear of the car up by the "frame". Put it on jack stands. Remove/install PHR. Lift the vehicle off the jack stands by the differential. (PHR bolts should be torqued down with full load on the rear suspension). Lower vehicle.

Did you call the manufacturer and ask them? They should be able to help you.
