Default How much will a spec 2+ take?

Im building up an LT1 stroker engine and looking for about 500hp at the crank. Do you think a spec 2+ would hold up? I"ve driven stage 3s and hate them And I dont have the money for a twin disc set up.

I'm only going to be running street tires with this setup. No taking it to the strip.

You could always look into a mcleod single disk. I've been running mine for ~20,000 miles and streetability is good with great holding power. It held over 500rwhp/550rwtq without any issues when I was spraying it. The only downslide is it doesn't like heat so you have to be careful how much you slip it on the launch.

Our Stage 2+ (SC423H) is rated to 665lb.-ft at the crank. That being the case it should easily work for you application. It will provide smoother engagement than the stage 3. Your power level really doesn't necessitate a Twin-Disc...the two plus would be just right. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!
