Yeah I know it's bullshit. You know what I don't even pay attention to the price, I just get my gas when I need it. They're trying to get us all to switch to these new hybrid cars and ****, well they can kiss my ***. I'm gonna keep driving my American muscle every damn day when gas goes above $4.00/gal. And you know it's just because of the election and the **** will go back down again.

I've been averaging around 14-16, with mostly town driving. Last time I filled up, it was $3.55/gallon for 93 octane. It may have went up to $3.65, though, today. I'm thinking about going down the road and getting 92 octane since it's $0.10 cheaper per gallon, even though I don't think of it as that big of a difference. I mean, if I'm putting 10 gallons in, that's only $1.00 difference, on the fillup.

I have been studying this gas price fluctuation and its is the day traders that are moving the stock around to make a profit. It was on the bloomberg report and CNN about a month ago. Basically what they said was back when gas was below 2/gallon it cost 34/barrel to produce. The cost to produce has gone up 2 bux to 36/barrel and there is no shortage. The money is in the tsock market and those bastards are crippling their own brothers!
If and only if the country could get together for a 3 day gas hold out then it would get a message across loud and clear as it would have a MASSSIVE ripple effect and crash the market bring gas don half of what it is now. All those traders would dump the stocks as fast as they bought them and then the potentila holders would get the hint.
It is nearly impossible to imagine everyone doing it, You have all seen the email don't buy gas today etc. It takes 3 days to make the impact. Sure on day four we have to go back to normal.......but by then the damage to their pockets is done and the message is LOUD AND CLEAR!
The current administration has the ability to hinder the trading of a national commodity but you would never see that he owns oil!
