IROC Racing... Trans Ams

Just a month or so ago someone posted that they were selling of the bumpers and other body parts for those cars. Might wana search for it. Maybe something you would be interested in doing.

Man, the only good pic I can find is this one, and the once or twice I caught a glimse of the IROC Firebird series, I don't recall them looking like this.
Other than that, all I can find are pics of like Hot Wheels.
EDIT: Man, that spoiler is wicked....
Too bad there aren't any other angles of this model

i was at the iroc auction, it was last friday. it SUCKED. nothing went cheap, everything was top dollar. you could buy stuff brand new for cheaper then how it went at the auction for used. but there were race cars there, for sale the next day, plus a shitload of nice memorabilia. all of which would be hideously expensive also.
i saw all of the cars up close. theyve used the LS1 ram air body style since 98 or so, maybe 2000. the rear wing looks somewhat stock, but there are clear lexan parts bolted to it to make into a more functional spoiler, while looking stock.
and to clear up in case anyone doesnt know.....the real iroc cars are absolutely nothing like a real TA. theyre full tube frame cup cars, with a plastic TA body bolted to it. theres really no way to 'make' an iroc car unless you build a tube frame from the ground up.

i didnt bother going the second day, when they had the cars and memorabilia. the first day disappointed me so much, the second would have been outrageous. they said they expected them to be from 50-100k. i would assume they went for even more. especially the ones actually driven by earnhardt sr. and jr. im guessing half a million for that one.

maybe one of the lettered/decaled cars with the names on them. such as: the 2 seat conversion that Dale Sr. AND Dale Jr. rode in.
the plain white bodied cars wouldnt have enough star appeal to them.
