Heavy duty Meziere pump, Griffin radiator and factory fans...how?
I am trying to figure out how to get factory fans on a Griffin radiator with an electric water pump...the fans I have now do not pull enough air in traffic.
My heavy duty Mez pump is longer than a standard Mez or CSI/CSR pump. I dont think it will fit at all with the longer heavy duty Mez pump....will have to do some major trimming on the fans to fit a CSI/CSR pump, they look like they are at least 1 1/4 shorter than my HD Mez.
Anyone done this?

The HD will clear a stock fan, but you will have to trim the shroud (not the fan blades) pretty heavily.
I don't know how much your new radiator changes geometry for you, but if it moves the fans closer
to the HD pump, you're going to have issues.
I've got pics here somewhere from a person who did it. I'll try to find them.

I was able to do some trimming on the 4 tabs that hold the fan shroud to the plastic piece holding the fans against the radiator. I then installed the fan and its shroud from the radiator side instead of the engine side of the large plastic piece. This gave me more clearance for the WP, I still had to trim the shroud but not as much as the above pics. Reading my post is kind of confusing to me so I can post pics if needed.
