ok my buddy has a green 95 t/a, he thinks its a formula but its not haha...bc its got the t/a bumper and wing, but anyway...its a auto, really bad gears(i dont remember exacly) somthing like 3.23 or maybe even worse, 143k on the clock but with a rebuild, port and polish, cold air intake, shorties, y pipe and 3 in flowmaster, 160 degree stat...a custom ground cam from a guy named glen maine he builds race engines(idk specs) but its not a big cam,and a weak 2200 or 2500 stal or somthin,and no tune...and thats everything hes got, stock tb stock injectors everything, what kind of hp or u guys thinking for him, hes saying 400whp but he lost to a 03 wrx for 20-120 by a car, and that wrx in prolly a mid 13 sec car(hes got turbo back,intake, 17psi ,intake,tune).....also what kind 1/4 mile r u guys thinking

IDK but sounds like the car is a basketcase. How does it run/shift, etc? The mods sound a bit mismatched and does he really know if the heads have been P/P or if it even has a cam? Doesn't sound anywhere near 400whp, especially if he lost the race cleanly to wrx that has some basic mods. my guess is its not putting out anywhere over 300rwhp because I don't think it has the internal mods you are quoting, no tune, and shorty headers with a cai.

I'm just guessing.

i no it has a cam and a p/p ...the tranny slips when it shifts , i can tell bc it dont shift hard at all, like it needs a shift kit, from a dead stop 80% of the time it wont even spin threw all of 1st, i was thinking maybe it just needs a tune really bad bc it dont even get 11mpg...me and him and my other friend put the motor and tranny in after the rebuild, so i no everything thats done to it

WHP? i think somwhere close to 290whp only bc i no that a ls1 ss 6spd has 300ish and i dont even it will beat one

ive seen healthy cam'd LT1's put mid 300's down
so i dont know the shape of the car .. but it seems like bolt ons and a cam should get decent numbers

hes just had bad luck with the car sense he got it, for example, the day he got it he raced my other friends moms stock s80 tt (high 14 sec car) and lost..we changed the plugs,wires,filter,oil and after that he could atleast beat the s80...i think its all bc of the gears, im pretty sure hes got 2.73s or w/e they r now that i think about it

and his father has a ls1 t/a with 65cc heads and 236/236 cam and lts back all 3 in how much hp u think hes got

the Lt1 ta probably 300 330rwhp at best with no specs cant relay say the ls1 ta could be 350 or more. what else is done to the heads.
