Default 4l80e conversion cooling line question

i am currently installing a new ls2 coupled to a stock 99 4l80e trans with 373's in a 67 chevelle. the trans is really tight and i couldnt re-use the old lines coming out of the trans, so i had inline tube make a push connect flare with a short elbow which is slightly different than gm's lines .i think it should work. Are there any other options for me such as a special fitting to turn directly out of the trans? and does anyone make the same gm flare? any input or tips would be appreciated . thanks JOHN

Sonnax makes a kit to adapt the snap in lines to the standard old style 5/16" inverted flare. Our sponsors should have them.
