Turbo Lt1 question
Sup guys;
I have a little proyect going on everything started after and Idiot wreck my z28 parked outside my worked , I got my hands on a FoxBody (86 mustang) I managed to removed the engine and transmission with harness I have performed the swap on to the fox body unfortunelly I ran out of budget and so far and this is what I got:
9:1 Wiseco forged turbo pistons
Eagle h-beam rods
custom intake manifold
90mm throttle body
custom Gt4292 turbo setup
liquid to air intecooler
microtech standalone ecu
750cc injectors
aeromotive 1000hp fuel pump
methanol/water injection
porte polished heads
arp studs main/heads/valve train
comp cams valve train ( still needing a camshaft)
10 gallon fuel cell
1990 lx conversion
4000rpm stall torque converter
powerglide 2 speed transmission build with TCI parts
Now my question is , I have the stock crankshaft I can not afford a forged at the time yet I want to get the car ready is been sitting for a while now
how much power will the crankshaft handle , Im cosidering getting the crankshaft cryotreated just to be safe for a while. I know that the best way is to wait until I have the crankshaft , but I have 4 other proyect cars and the designated budget has been given.
My goal is to run 9sec 1/4 the car is very light weigh I calculated that 600-700rwhp.
Also what cam lift/duration works best in this engine with force induction
I will apreciate any help or advise.
Thanks
Gilbert

But how good the stock ecu will work just using lt1edit program?
