stock type radiator as in stock '69 radiator? That'll be the same as mine them. Right now I'm using autozone flex hoses that are the size/lengths for a '67-69 Camaro w/ 327. They fit OK length wise, but they are like 1/8" too big for the LS1 side. Right now I just have them clamped really tight...

I'm probably going to go with a set of those metal flex hoses--they come with adapters to neck down to a variety of sizes. Spectre and a couple of others vendor make them.

Another suggestion for your upper, is to take your radiator and have the neck cut down, braze/solder the correct size tube on to the end of the neck, that why you can use the correct LS1 size Radiator hose and matches the Water Pump neck.

i have the same hoses as rodder. summit sells a radiator hose size kit, its a rubber plug that slides into the radiator hose end and makes the hose end smaller. i have one on my water pump. it converted my 1.5 inch hose into a 1.25 inch hose.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

for the lower i just forced a 1.5 inch hose on the 1.75 inch radiator outlet.

works fine.

I had brought a eBay Radaitor (Universal was the store name), the upper neck had a duel size neck.. it had the normal 1.5 but necked down to 1.25 to be able to use either size. That is why I suggested mod'in your current radaitor.. I figure a good Radiator shop should be able to add reducer for not too much $$.

i bought a conversion one from afco, not sure if they have one for camero
jegs and summit have an adapter that is 1 1/2 x 1 1/4, and a petcock-you could use that maybe for the top, and unscrew the petcock and use that for the bypass hose maybe-the s10 trucks had some smaller hoses-you might get away with an upper hose for a 2000 5.7 camero, and your old hose to the radiator and the adapter
the bottom hose is 1 3/4, i think a truck thermostat housing is at least 1 1/2",
and one of those rubber bushings (reducers) and you might get away with a stock lower hose-even some stock upper hoses might work with the bushings
i usuall go to the auto store with a bent wire and meas tape, they let me roam thru them
