Large duration turbo cam.
So yesterday I went and bought a GT47r, two Tial v44 wastegates and a Tial BOV for my GTO. This is going to be going along with a 370 with cnc'd L92/L76 to help get more cfm through the motor out of boost. But, I'm pretty concerned I'm going to have "supra lag" with a 1.01 a/r with a T6 flange so I want to toss a big cam in there to make it a little better.
I've seen a couple blower cams on here that are 21x/23x .55x/.55x 116, is there anything maybe a bit larger than that or am I looking at having a custom cam specd out and ground?

Cool, was hoping you'd answer to this. So if the 1.01 a/r is smallish what did you wind up getting? I originally went in to my friends shop wanting a 1.1X and he talked me into the 1.01. I was hoping power wouldn't fall off too quickly and pull hard all the way to redline. I can't say I'm horribly concerned with lag, as long as I'm in full boost by 3800-4000rpm. I just don't want it to be a 1500 rpm power band.

I don't have a GT47 anymore...sold it
you should be to full boost well before 4K rpm with the 1.08.

Have you done any research on that combo with a relatively small CI motor?
Im not trying to get off topic here but your cam needs to work with the heads...

you need to have a custom grind man, several things dictate cam size, cid, comp, head flow, turbo size, what your using the car for etc.
i do a ton of turbo cams, send me your car nad engine specs and i can help you out.And i would go bigger on the turbine housing for a 370
