Ok Bought a used car that should be stock. But after headers and exhaust it sounded really wicked nothing like any stock car with headers ive ever heard or my friends have heard. So im starting to think the person before me did a few things.

Well now that im looking to do a cam and other mods i would like to know where im at now for a starting point.

Some cams have markings on them designating what they are. I know Thunder Racing sends you what the exact specs of the cam after it is ground.

If you are thinking about swapping cams anyway, do you own a degree wheel? SOunds like a great time to learn how to use one if you don't...

there should be a part number on them. Just call the manufacturer of the cam, and they will give them to you.

You can use a degree wheel to check it when installing it or send it to a company like Thunder Racing who has a Cam Doctor Machine to give you all the Specs.
