So I thought my opti cap was bad and that's why my car was running on 6 cyls. It turned out to be one of my plug wires was cut into by the pulley . On the passenger side the first and third plug wires where they come up towards the opti were cut into by my pulley! Now once I get new wires how do I keep them from being cut again?

Also, what all do I have to do to get rid of my smog pump? Do you just take the whole thing out and get a smaller belt? And what about where it plugs into the header? Will this give me an SES code too? And how much hp will this really give me?

Sorry I'm kind of a n00b at this stuff but I'm starting to figure some stuff out!
