Default different kind of headlight issue

I read the sticky and searched but came out empty handed. My headlights pop up just fine but when I turn them off the passenger side goes down then right back up. brent franker's right up says something about drilling a whole and replacing the stop with a nut and bolt. I'm looking at the area and that doesn't seem possible because there is no room to do that. I could be wrong but thats where you guys come in

Anyone have this problem? How did you fix it? How much is the entire peice that the stops are on?

HELP my car looks like a thirdgen!

does it operate manually OK?
Check for a nub thats broken off or worn thats the down stop.
the headlight motor needs to amp up(under load amps need to increase)
for the module to shut power off to it.
Try and disconnect the other headlight and see if this one still acts up.
Could be your module if it clears up.

Did you ever figure out how to get the down stop fixed? I'm almost positive I have the same problem.

I had thought gluing something in place would be enough, but someone had mentioned that the motors use quite a bit of force and would likely make quick work of the glued piece. I might try it anyways, worst case scenario you waste 10 minutes or so.
