*idle help* T-Rex/big cam people come in
OK, just started on a T-Rex cam install for a buddy's 1997 corvette and I was wondering what's a good drill bit size to start off with for the throttle body to help it idle. We're about halfway through the install so the faster you guys can help the better. The specs of the TRex are 243/249 so similar sized cams let me know. I'd search, but I gotta get back to working on this car. Thanks

Yeah the throttle body hole is not the best idea. Its like a last resort to get an untuned car to idle until you get it tuned. Then you would need to replace the blade/fill the hole. I would say start out pretty small if your set on doing it. 1/4 or 5/16 perhaps.

It's an M6. We didn't drill the throttle body. I just thought we might have to because mine was drilled and I run a little bit of a smaller cam, but I couldn't remember what I used.

There is a right up in one of the stickys about how the adjust idle air without drilling. I think you open the stop screw, then reset the TPS to zero. I can't remember the steps.
