Forging Bottom End?
What all is required? I plan on putting on a D-1SC Procharger later this year, so I'm curious as to what needs to be upgraded if I want to run more than 8lbs. of boost. And maybe a guess on the price too... Thanks

all you need is piston rods and a crank if you just forging a stock motor you can keep the crank cause it will go all the way up to 1000hp by its self but you will also need to upgrade your fuel system your fuel pump and injectors. you also need to get better heads and so on and so on just all the boltons.

Yeah I know I need to upgrade the fuel system.. already planned on doing that. I was just curious on what internals need to be upgraded to run over 8lbs. of boost. So pistons, and rods? Is that all?? What kind should I look into getting and any idea how much they cost?
Thanks

if you want an exact price so you know exactly what is all needed i would contact one of the sponsors to the right. contact bob at epp b/c they sell the prochargers and im sure everyone there would be more than happy to help you get what you need

THE RED "BLUR" is right about the factory crank! They see 1000hp before they start to flex, i have never heard of a LS1 crank breaking...yet.

What kind of pistons/rings/rods should I look into getting? I know I could call Bob @ EPP and ask him, which I will.. but he's not open now and I wanna know what I'm looking at spending before I ask him, in case it's not in my budget.
And if the crank is good up to 1000HP then I won't be upgrading that lol
