NO CRANK! 96 Camaro to ls1 swap.
Well after 15hrs of rebuilding and dropping it in we got to the moment of truth and were majorly let down! We turned the key and nothing happened! Harness was a 99 reworked by Speartech to work with our 96. We have power to the instrument cluster and pcm. I can scan the computer and see all the sensors working.
Other than the engine harness the rest of the wiring remains unchanged. It is a 6sp car and I messed with the nuetral safty but still the same issue. I wanted to test stuff but I didn't have access to a volt meter plus we were just beat. Car is not local so I am looking for suggestions on what to check for the next visit. Thanks for any suggestions!

Like LS1MCSS says did you connect the purple wire from the starter to inside the cars cab? They connect together. I have the wiring diagram available if you need any info from it. These guys like LS1MCSS and several others helped me alot through my swap. Very knowledgable guys!!

Engine will not crank. I thought at first it was the VATS on the 96 acting up but there is no security light staying on. Purple is going to purple on the harness. I am going there tomorrow to check if it has 12v. I am starting to think it is just a bad starter. What are the odds!
