One Wire Alternator Help
Hey guys my dad got new Mach Billet alternator for his 68 camaro. but it just has one wire in the back and es kind of confused on how to wire it. do any of you guys have this type of alternator? how did you wire it?

Yup show your dad this website. One wire alternators are exactly that.... put the battery cable to em and call it a day....

thanks guys. now my dad is wiring the car to tidy it up since the motor is out. he has a brown wire that is part of the cars original wiring. he says it used to go to the voltage regulator. do any of you guys have any idea what that brown wire is for or could be? he says it goes from the dashboard out.
