Default First passes of 2008, some new bests.

This was the first time out with the Vig 3600 & the Bogarts, I'm pretty happy with the results.

We were at KCIR, it was cold, cloudy & windy. On my best run of the day the temp was 45*, 46% humidity & there was about a 10mph straight on headwind, the DA looks to have been -296. My previous best was 11.70 @ 117.

Run #1 11:53 AM
Right as I drove it there, not a big enough burnout...Throw away run!

Run #2 12:08 PM
Right as I drove it there (17" ZR1s w/ MT radials, closed cutout)
60' 1.602
1/8 7.369 @ 92.83
1/4 11.594 @ 116.76

Run #3 2:09 PM
Switched to the Bogarts & brand new 275-50-15 MT Radials & opened the cutout.
60' 1.533
1/8 7.209 @ 93.72
1/4 11.393 @117.78

Run #4 2:32 PM
60' 1.775
1/8 7.532 @ 93.24
1/4 11.732 @ 117.49

Run #5 2:58 PM
60' 1.530
1/8 7.219 @ 93.90
1/4 11.393 @ 118.03

Run #6 4:02 PM
60' 1.514
1/8 7.214 @ 93.41
1/4 11.417 @ 117.23

Run #7 4:23 PM (Probably had less gas than I should have made a pass with)
60' 1.552
1/8 7.292 @ 92.93
1/4 11.509 @ 116.92

It was a good way to start the season, got some good runs in & drove the car back home 200 miles without any problems.

Nice work! What are your mods? Are you still on the stock 4l60 and rear?

Thanks everyone!

I'm on the original 4L60 & a 10 bolt with an Eaton, Motive gears, Moser axles, TA girdle & welded axle tubes..Fingers crossed on every launch!

Sean, a bunch of us are heading out your way for the Speed Inc open house--the same weekend as the relays. Bad timing!
