dyno tune..how much of help is it?

I hate to say it but that is kind of a loaded question... Really depends on how the person tunes your car.. how well they know how to tweak it to get the most out of the car. From the 13.6 I am guessing its a A4, and then if they adjusted shift points and cleaned up the AFR you could cut a couple tenths.. again it is how they tune you. IMHO, if you are planning for some bolt-ons, do it then.. save the $100 retune charge and use it towards a mod. If this is a M6... ignore everything above... just practice

Get your LT's, exhaust and intake done and then get her tuned. No point in tuning without all of those on her first.
Then get some heads and a cam and get the tune updated.
Or get them all done at once and tuned

yeah my buddy said theres a dude in dayton doing dyno tunes 225....if I don't do the dyno tune another way to change my shift points they kill my quarter time second to third bangs every time down the track
