Congrats to Ashley (damn she's HOT). I was at the race and the croud went crazy when she won, it was very cool. The Alcohol Dragster that ran in Johns lane just before him also spun the tires right at the hit but then Schumacher went 4.52 right after in the same lane.

who got lane choice? seemed like alot of cars were having problems in the left lane at the transition point.

It seemed like the lanes were fairly close all day, its was cool and cloudy with no sun on the track. After the rain showers in the late afternoon it seemed like the right lane was a little better but then. Pro Mod, Pro Stock, Pro Stock bike and Alcohol Dragster all won finals from the left lane and Schumacher ran the 2nd fastest run of the weekend in the final but lost.

well I just read up on it and she ran the 2nd quickest time of the day so JF would have had to make a great pass to beat her anyway.

Dave thats when I started watching was just before the rain came, and after that it seemed like the right lane was the lane to be in. But I fell asleep sometime afetr that.. damn comfy couch..

It's an accomplishment for her in her first full year. Might it have been TEAM ORDERS? She was in first, still is isn't she? Who knows that better then John? John showed CLASS again. His face wasn't in the post race awards interview.
