Default Who can wire me a BS3 harness for factory cluster?

Here's the kicker, LS1 in 1994 car. Who can do it? Speed Inc said no, others won't return e-mails, others say they'll call me back and never do.

Yeah. If the hurdle is OBD1, I know it can be overcome because Speartech can wire me a factory LS1 computer for the same goal.

i dont see what the problem is ??

bs3 tach wire to tach wire (used to go to lt1 coil wite wire)

toss signal to speedo input signal, possibly after a small processor box (AGS?)

leave coolant sensor and wiring alone (use another in the other head for bs3)

leave oil pressure sensor and wiring alone

leave alternator and wiring alone

leave starter and wiring alone

connect bs3 ign to key on power

OK I guess the problem is I have never owned an LS1 car before so this is uncharted territory for me. Also, I am wanting to run BS3 standalone, not piggy backed.

yeah, was gonna say. The LT1 clusters are all just about dedicated inputs for everything.

Well I was hoping it could be done and I can't seem to find my answer. I was wanting a clean plug and play install with no piggy back. I had pondered at one time hacking up the dash and running a full set of Autometers but cost was an issue as was too much work. I don't mind pulling motors but gauges and wiring is just nightmarish to me.

if you want a bs3 harness that splits off and plugs directly into your lt1 dash... that is def. not available.

if you have a factory dash harness though what i am saying is you are nearly good to go making only 2 fresh connections

obd 1 needs no piggyback. every single gauge function of my typhoon works totally fine and i cashed out on the factory computer a year ago.

like is said worst case there is a trans speed converter box somewhere... oh and if you want to use knock control you will need old style knock modules.

the ls1 will hook up directly to the bs3 ls1 harness no problems, have to change the map sensor plug if you use a boost ready map sensor, and depending on the year of the engine may need to extend the cam harnes (if ls2) or buy a different coolant temp sensor (98 vs rest 3 vs 2 wire)

OK see that's info I want people to tell me. Still getting my LS1 feet wet here. By dash harness you just mean the factory wiring to the cluster? Yeah, all that's still intact. I just sold the LT1 engine harness and computer

so you would just have to identify the coil wire, oil presure coolant temp wires etc. i said above and hook up. at some point you will have to cross paths with a wiring diagram to make sure you grab the right wires.

Alright cool. I thought by the way you were talking that I'd tap into these wires on the engine harness. I don't have a Chilton manual at my apartment but I think it's got the schematics in it. Never done this retrofit before.
