How many actually do their MOS?
Ive been in a little over 2 years. The only time Ive done my MOS was back in AIT. I got to my unit and was told to forget everything I learned in the school house its all wrong. So basically all I know is how to hook up 4 cables and thats it. Anyone else not doing there job? I think this only applies to Army. Im a 13R by the way, but im playing Personal Security/Infantry

that sounds like an Arty MOS, which has been pretty common lately since we're not using many big guns in Iraq right now, so they've been using you guys to pull security, sucks but thats how it goes. When we left a couple years ago, we had 20 some Cav scouts attached to us who ended up being forklift operators, you just never know what uncle sam is gonna have you do anymore.

she's a SGT, arng. I suspect its because she's in the guard, I hate most of them with a passion. There are some great soldiers in the guard but most of them are shammers and fatbodies and the occasional battle fvcker. Theres an E6 in my wifes unit, she's 4'11" and is 154% over on hieght weight, and wears an XL ACU

Dude if you don't like bullshit.. you'd hate USAREC. Unless you go to a good area with a good chain of command (which seems rare in USAREC) you're going to be a PV6 no matter how many people you put in. If you volunteer you get your pick of assignments so call the recruiting station where you plan on going and ask them how they like the assignment and about their chain of command. Maybe you'll get lucky.

So true, I think alot of them do it for the fact that they can say they are in the military. It really sucks for the ones that actually try to do well because it drags them down. The army has a screwed up promotion process. And I would also assume that being Arng thats why she does the S shop jobs. Not really much of a need for her mos in her unit.
After goin SF I got the boot for a med discharge which has proved very hard to overcome and gain reentry even in the guard but I see tons of tore up shitbags all the time at her unit and it makes me so angry its not even funny. How about her commander having hair touching the collar in class A's, this guy in her unit thats been in 11 years and is a E4, out of 123 people for a Class A uniform inspection only 42 showed up with a uniform and only 11 could still fit into it!
