Default Abs Inop

i have an 01 ws6. the abs inop light has been on for about 6 months its drivin me crazy the brakes still work great but the light is on indicating otherwise. i was just asumeing that it was an abs sensor. let me know what you think?

This happened to me too, I looked under the car one day right above the rear axle on the drivers side there is a plug..it was unplugged, so I plugged it in and the light went off...check to see if that is your problem....

It's happened to me twice now, once after a dyno tune it was the rear plug like just mentioned and the other day we replaced the front suspension and one of the front plugs fell out after a few days and was hanging behind the spindle. You could always check the codes and find out what the problem is.

Remove that ABS crap, just extra weight.

Horrible idea IMO. Most will stop much quicker with a functioning ABS system than without.

The other thing to check is the wires going to the front brakes. Mine got frayed and has to be crimped back together. Just take your wheels off and have a look around for anything out of the ordinary.
