8740 Rod Bolts?
Im helping a friend of mine do a build. Hes opted for eagle rods. I noticed they came with the 8740 rods. Hes looking at running a blower on the car. Are the 8740 rods able to handle the power? Or should he look at some L19 or arp 2000's? Its something i wasnt sure if i should recommend a upgrade..or stick with the bolts that came with the rods.

The large 7/16 rod bolts in these rods are already overkill so they will easily handle anything you throw at them. If you use the other bolts the rods must be ordered with them initially or you will need to resize them as the other bolts you mentioned do have higher torque values and will slightly distort the rods if you just change them out of rods originally equipped with the 8740 bolts.
