Default idle issues maybe fixed

i have been haviung idle problems(go up and down when at a stop) checked for vacuum leaks etc. i replaced the IAC ive heard that you have to drive it a little bit before it will actually fix the problem. is this ture or should it fix it after about 10 minutes of running?

When replacing something like an IAC, TPS, you need to reset the PCM's learned values. Disconnect the battery for about 15 mins, reconnect the battery and start it up. Take it out for a test drive and see if it fixes your concern....best of luck
