So I was switching out the alternator and the wire for the connection on the top broke off and there is not enough wire to reconnect it. Any ideas?

so the wire broke off at the connector is what your saying? If so you just need a pigtail made up for you and you can splice it into the harness. I can get you one, pm me if your interested. OR call around to some local shops and see who can make on up for you. It literally takes 1 minute to make. Even a dealer could handle it.

you can pull that terminal out of the weather pack and unclamp the terminal from the original wire then put a longer wire back in and clamp it back
