Unhappy please help with clear!!!!

hey guys i need your help!
im painting a few parts on the car and i ran in to a problem with the clear.
im useing duplicolor spray can paint and clear and after i was done spraying the clear a tiny piece of lint found its way on to the part and it stuck.
can i wet sand the clear coat then reclear it? i want to get that speck of what ever it is out lol. i dident know if i could sand the clear then respray it?
im not saying sand it all the way back down to the color coat just sand it with 2000 grit then reshoot it.thanks guys.

You can sand the piece of trash out with some 2000 grit and reclear it. That's perfectly fine to do

Yes, as long as the re-shoot of clear occurs within the re-spray window of time on the spray can.

If you ever run into this again while the clear is still wet get a piece of tape and fold it into a u shape. Then just touch the very tip of the lint and the tape will pick it right up. Then just throw one more coat of clear.
