Default New Clutch help with high RPM shifting???

Just wondering if replacing my stock clutch would fix the high RPM shifting issues these LS1 seem to have. I have read threads and stickies but haven't come across what I am looking for. Just wondering if it is worth the $$$ to put in a new clutch sytem or not. My clutch is fine besides the high RPM sticking...

Also, if upgrading the clutch will help, what clutch should I go with?

Thanks in advance...

I had the same problem and searched as well. My issue was the master cylinder. Get an adjustable one, it fixed my issues.

corvet: So you have the original clutch still, just added an adjustable master cylinder? And this fixed the high RPM shifting issue?

Chances are your clutch is dragging at high RPMs. Do a search in this section on the clutch test and dragging clutch and you'll find a ton of info.

What is "high RPM"

I shift at 7000 with my CARTEK clutch and CARTEk adj. master, never had a problem.

high RPM being when I go WOT to probably 6K+ RPM's. Clutch will go almost down to the floor. Gotta pump it in neutral a few time to get it back.
