Default Mixing clutch fluid?

From what I've read the fluid is just brake fluid. I guess I'll use dot 3 and am planning on bleeding/adding some fluid. Is it ok to mix the different fluids? I'm not sure whats in it but was wondering if there would be any bad effects to mixing.
Thanks
Jerrad

If you are talking about different brands of DOT 3, shouldn't be a problem.
