Check out my coil relocation !!!
Heres some pics of a custom coil bracket that i came up with and made while i was installing my Nasty Performance coil relocation kit. What i did was use bigger spacers that slid over the smaller spacers that came with the kit. This was done because the bigger spacers looked better and also cured the sagging issue when doing this with the smaller spacers alone..
I used a coupler type fitting (long nut) that i rounded on its one side(half of coupler) and pressed the rounded end into the end of the bigger spacer on each end with my vice. By doing it this way, im actually able to assemble all of these coils together and tighten everthing before its attached to the stablizer bar. This also illiminates the need to ((pull)) both piece of all thread completly out to change out 1 coil, and have spacers and washers falling all over the place(intake) LOL!!The whole coil assembly is fitted inbetween the 2 custom supports that i made and welded onto the stabilizer bar and is attached useing 4 bolts.
After everthing was fited up and welded on ,i disassembled and had everthing powder coated bright red and this is what she looks like!Estamate time 1 weekend LOL!!and one pissed off wife if married

I also got the longer coil harneses from the same guy that sells those nasty performance coil relocation kits, there about $80 for the set! I bought a set of those GM performance valve covers that say chevrolet across the middle and had them powder coated red ,well before he baked them ,I had him wipe off the letters really good ,he then baked them and after cooling, he sprayed em with a baked type clearcoat which coated everything including the letters. So now,the letters wont get that oxidization on them and there SOOOO pretty LOL Thats why i came up with this idea. I didnt want the covers hidden by the coils, and wanted to show the coils at the same time ! I'll post pics here in a week or so with everthing together. My APS is almost done,Im trying to find a used GMMG for my CME and ill be about there. Am picking up the tranny wensday from Rossler So ,I did everthing the right way. I started collecting parts and getting the engine stuff started about a year ago, So she almost done Almost LOL!!
