Default SES light after thermostat install... coincidence?

just as the title states... i just put a oem (186*) thermostat in after the car was running w/out one for a while (previous owner took it out, do you have any input, josh?). after letting it warm up i noticed the SES light is on. i unplugged the TP sensor and one other so i could fill it up and bleed the air, could that be what threw the code? I plugged them back in before i started it.

Run the code and find out what it is. It is highly unlikely the thermostat is throwing a code.

yeah i figured it wasn't the thermstat itself... i guess my question is could unplugging and pluggin in those sensors have tripped it? I check all the connections they are good and tight.

Yes if you unplugged them while the car was running.
