Default How long did you elictric water pump last?

Mine just died. I had about 3500-4000 miles on it, but, also had "key-on" pump running time. Advertized operation time is 500hrs. Am thinking that there may have been 250-300 hrs. tops on the electric WP.

Am actually happy to be going back to a belt driven pump. I was always worried that the electric pump would die @ the worst possible time.

I don't know. Never dynoed to find out. For me, it was more trouble than it was worth. Although, I understand how convenient they can be @ the track. The pump can be cooling the block whithout the engine running.
