Default Little problem with ported tb

Tried the General LSX section but had no luck...22 views.. I guess here it will get more attention. Well I put on my ported throttle body. When I rev it to 1500 or so it does it like normal then when it's going down it will stay at 1100-1200 rpms for 1-2 seconds then go back down to my normal idle. It's not sticking. I think it might be because the Wire that opens the throttle body is not "tight" I can push on it with no effort and it flexes all over the place. Anyone know how to tighten that up or know any other reason why it's holding up the rpms?

Whoever ported it got down and removed too much from around the blade. You are getting too much air now becauseof that. You may be able to close the blade a little more by adjusting the set screw.

try letting your car re learn...let it idle for about 5-10 min then drive it around and see if that helps.
